"A couple of life changing mystical experiences led me to a spiritual insight a few years ago. I realized that it is every soul's utmost longing to reconnect to Cosmic Consciousness from where it originated. My highest aspiration since that moment is to make the Christ / Buddha seed that every human has blossom within me to a fruitful and strong tree. It is crucial in my personal opinion to actively assist our constantly evolving consciousness through spiritual practices. Excessive material aspirations, unhealthy behaviors, and stress hinder us to hear our soul's true calling. Spiritual exercises will at one hand balance and heal our body-mind. At the other hand they will allow us to perceive and experience the connection between our soul and the Oversoul, Divine Cosmic Energy or God.

The main subject matter of my art continues to be the visualization of the relationship between Cosmic Energy and humans' highest spiritual potential. Nevertheless my approach of creating art has gone through some major changes recently. I have been able to move away from literal spiritual symbolic art towards a more abstract style. This represents an important shift from "reading" to "experiencing" my artwork. I am convinced that this is a significant step in my development, since the spiritual dimension has to be experienced rather than understood through the intellect.

My recent paintings convey on one hand an ethereal and metaphysical dimension through numerous thin layers of translucent oil paint build up on the canvas and on the other hand explosive and radiating energy. I have come to realize that the "Action-Painting" technique (defined by the Encyclopedia Britannica as: "direct, instinctual, and highly dynamic kind of art that involves the spontaneous application of vigorous, sweeping brushstrokes and the chance effects of dripping and spilling paint onto the canvas.") is the most adequate method of visualizing the mystical and utmost powerful Cosmic Energy which is the essence of the universe.

Cosmic Energy can be in different states, similarly to the water molecule; water can be solid (ice), liquid (water), or gas (vapor). It is still water, yet the distance between the molecules is different. A simplified interpretation states that Cosmic Energy can be in the solid form of matter (i.e. body) or in the pure state of Energy (i.e. spirit). Einstein captured this intimate relationship between matter and energy in his most known formula E=mc˛. There might have been just pure Cosmic Energy before the Big Bang. Part or all of this Energy "slowed down" and changed into matter during the Big Bang, similarly as vapor condenses to liquid water.

Our biological life in form of flesh and bones is just a temporal state. Our physical bodies will eventually go back from where they came from, namely mother earth and Cosmic Energy. It is a closed system, therefore nothing is lost. It is a perpetual change between Energy and matter until matter reaches the level of consciousness of "Cosmic Energy".

The Visual Art is a language through in which humans can express their consciousness. This ability sets us apart from animals, for example. An artist with a highly evolved consciousness level can potentially (through some academic skills) create works of art that visualize and radiate this high level of energy. This energy is ‘contagious’, be it on a conscious or subconscious level of the viewer. This means that looking at art can foster spiritual growth.

My ultimate goal is to create artwork that fosters the desire for spiritual awakening in the viewer. "
